eAppSys — Oracle Fusion Cloud Services

Oracle Fusion Cloud Extensions, Customisations & Integrations

Oracle Fusion Cloud is a powerful standard product — but every organisation has requirements that go beyond what the standard product covers, and systems that need to exchange data with Oracle Fusion in both directions. eAppSys designs, builds, and maintains OIC integrations, VBCS web applications, APEX extensions, and custom BIP reports — all deployed through DeployIQ™ CI/CD pipelines so extensions are version-controlled, approved, and promoted safely through Dev, SIT, UAT, and Production.

“Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP applications automate and connect back-office operations, helping organizations quickly adapt to change… By delivering touchless workflows, predictive insights, and continuous innovations — including AI — they help business leaders improve speed, accuracy, and control. Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and VBCS provide the platform-as-a-service layer that connects Oracle Fusion to the broader enterprise technology landscape.”

Why Our Customers Choose eAppSys

Oracle Fusion Cloud’s standard product is powerful — but the integrations that connect it to your wider landscape, and the extensions that fill the gaps the standard product leaves, are what make it work for your specific organisation. eAppSys builds them safely, deploys them through controlled CI/CD pipelines, and maintains them through Oracle’s quarterly update cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions we get asked most before an Oracle Fusion Cloud extensions and integrations engagement starts.

What integration and extension tools does eAppSys use with Oracle Fusion Cloud?

eAppSys uses Oracle’s recommended PaaS layer for extending and connecting Oracle Fusion Cloud: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for system-to-system integration; VBCS (Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service) for custom web application development; Oracle APEX for forms, portals, and operational extension applications; and Oracle Analytics Publisher (BIP) for custom formatted report development. All deployments use DeployIQ™ CI/CD pipelines for version-controlled, approved promotion from Dev to Production.

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is Oracle’s integration platform-as-a-service for connecting Oracle Fusion Cloud to other applications and systems. It provides 500+ prebuilt adapters for common systems (SAP, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, banking APIs, HR systems, logistics platforms) and supports REST, SOAP, database, and file-based integration patterns. OIC integrations can be scheduled, event-driven (triggered by Oracle Fusion transactions), or real-time bidirectional. eAppSys has delivered OIC integrations for multiple Oracle Fusion implementations — including a global professional services company where a significant number of integrations were built to support Fusion ERP and SCM.

VBCS (Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service) is Oracle’s modern web application development platform — built on Oracle JET (JavaScript Extension Toolkit). It is ideal for responsive web and mobile applications that embed within Oracle Fusion pages or run as standalone extensions. APEX (Oracle Application Express) is Oracle’s low-code development platform running on Oracle Database — ideal for data-heavy forms, administration interfaces, reporting portals, and applications requiring direct database access. For Oracle Fusion extensions, VBCS is preferred for modern UI embedded within Fusion; APEX is preferred for separate operational portals and data management interfaces (including ArchiveIQ™ historical data access).

DeployIQ™ is eAppSys’s CI/CD deployment framework for Oracle Fusion technical components — including OIC integrations, VBCS applications, and APEX extensions. It implements version control for all technical objects, approval gates at each environment promotion (Dev → SIT → UAT → Production), rollback capability when production issues arise, and a centralised deployment dashboard providing visibility into what has been deployed where. As eAppSys’s blog describes it: OIC integrations are currently promoted manually on most Oracle programmes — object by object, environment by environment. DeployIQ™ replaces that with a controlled pipeline that eliminates the most common source of production break at go-live and subsequent releases.

Oracle’s quarterly updates can affect OIC adapter behaviour, Oracle Fusion REST/SOAP API specifications, VBCS component versions, and BIP template compatibility. eAppSys’s quarterly update management service includes specific validation of all in-scope OIC integrations, VBCS applications, and BIP reports against each Oracle quarterly update — in the two-week window between test environment update and production update. DeployIQ™’s version control means any integration that needs updating for a new Oracle release can be corrected, tested, approved, and deployed to production with a full audit trail.
